A. Information You Provide

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password.
Profile Information: You may optionally provide a display name, a status message, and upload a profile avatar.
User Content (Chat History): We collect and store the messages you send to your AI Companions and in "Together Spaces" to provide you with a continuous conversation history and to improve our Service.
Communications: If you contact us directly for feedback or support (e.g., at dhanush.business01@gmail.com), we will collect your email address and the content of your message.
Journal Entries: If you use the "Secret Journal" feature, we store the content of your daily journal entries securely in our database.

B. Information We Collect Automatically

Usage Data: We may collect information about how you access and use the Service, such as which features you use and when you are active.
Cookies: We use essential cookies (small files stored on your device) to manage your login session and maintain your preferences (like your theme or custom background).

Communicate With You: To send you essential service-related messages, such as One-Time Passwords (OTPs) for account verification or password resets.
Improve the Service: To analyze usage, fix bugs, and develop new features.
User Engagement: To send you in-app chat messages or notifications to re-engage you if you have not unlocked your daily journal or logged in for a while.
Ensure Security: To monitor for and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity.

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with third-party service providers who help us operate our Service:

AI Provider (Groq): To generate chat responses, your conversation history is securely sent to the Groq API. We do not send your email address or other personal account data to Groq.
Database Host (MongoDB): Your profile information, hashed password, and chat history are stored in our MongoDB database.
Email Provider (Brevo): We use Brevo to send you OTP and password reset emails. We share only your email address with them for this purpose.
Authentication (Firebase): We may use Firebase for user authentication services.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

5. Your Data Rights and Choices

You have control over your personal information:

Access and Correction: You can access and edit your display name and status message at any time on your profile page.
Change or Remove Avatar: You can change or remove your profile avatar through the avatar context menu on your profile page.
Delete Chat History: You can delete your personal chat history with Luvisa at any time by using the "Forget Memory" (trash icon) button in the chat header.
Delete Your Account: You can request the permanent deletion of your entire account and all associated data by contacting us at dhanush.business01@gmail.com.

6. Data Security

We use a combination of technical and administrative measures to protect your data. This includes using strong password hashing (bcrypt) and secure connections. However, no electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

Account Data: We retain your profile information for as long as your account is active.
Journal Entries: Your journal entries are stored permanently until you delete your account, ensuring you can always look back on your memories.
Chat History: We retain your chat history to provide a continuous conversation experience, unless you delete it using the "Forget Memory" feature.
"Together Space" Chats: These are temporary. All chats and data from a "Together Space" are automatically and permanently deleted 5 minutes after the space is created.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
